Public access to the timber truss of the tower of the Old Town Hall which preserves the clockworks and bell. 

Due to capacity constraints, the access will be regulated on site.

Open studio // workshops 

✹ Studio for children, Old Town Hall 

Was there a time when the river Danube looked differently? Did Bratislava have its city walls? What was their function? Was it difficult to write a charter of privileges? And what is a charter? In our studio, small visitors can attend a series of family workshops focusing on topics such as the Danube, city in the walls and charter creation. 

Please note: the studio has capacity constraints.

Display of a celestial globe 

✹ Old Town Hall   

An extensive restoration of a celestial globe that has been preserved in the collections of the Bratislava City Museum has been carried out for some time. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to see the artefact in the process of restoration and listen to thematic lectures about this restoration, but also about the depictions that can be found on it.

What is the story of the city of Bratislava and of the people that lived in it? The guided tour will offer a possibility to see a number of artefacts, photos, prints and archive documents covering the seven centuries of our capital city.
