Take advantage of the last days of October to visit Ancient Gerulata and the House at the Good Shepherd – sites of the Bratislava City Museum, which will be closed from November to March. We look forward to welcoming you there again in spring 2026.

Devín Castle has plenty to offer even in colder weather. That’s why we keep its gates open every year throughout the winter season. However, from November 1, the opening hours change – you can visit the castle daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last entry to the site at 3:15 p.m.).

The Upper Castle at Devín remains open during the winter period, but its exhibition will be closed, and access may depend on current weather conditions. In case of unfavorable weather, such as icy surfaces, it may be closed for safety reasons. The museum shop will reopen in spring, but the exhibition hall at the Middle Castle, featuring Attention, Border!, remains open.

Our other sites – the Old Town Hall, Michael’s Gate, Pharmacy at the Red Crayfish, J. N. Hummel Memorial House, and the Viticulture Exhibition in Apponyi Palace – remain open year-round with unchanged opening hours.
